Inti Raymi is Peru’s grandest Inca celebration, the Festival of the Sun held every 24 June in Cusco. Hundreds of performers in golden costumes re-enact the ancient ceremony at Qorikancha, the Plaza de Armas and the stone fortress of Sacsayhuamán.
